My very favorite thing to collect when we lived in Italy and Germany…damigiani or demijohns. I’m a total sucker for glass jars and these are among my favorites! The fresco on the wall is from Italy and the inscription under the sundial reads Sol Me Vos Umbra Regit which translates from Latin “The sun guides me, the shadow you.”
