Thank you, Marty from A Stroll thru Life for including me again this year on another wonderful Christmas Home Tour! Last week’s tour just highlighted our guest bedroom at our mountain house, affectionally called Idlehour. This week’s photos include more of the cabin. If you’re coming from Casa Watkins, welcome!

Idlehour is right in the middle of Christmas tree country, and while we did not get a tree this year since we aren’t going to be here for the holidays, we did get this huge gorgeous wreath!

I love Lola, the cow in our kitchen. She reminds me each day that I’m grateful I live a life that allows me to follow my beliefs that we do not need to kill animals for food or products. I believe in the right of all creatures to live peacefully on this earth.

The cabin is open concept and I have already posted about the kitchen, which you can see here!

The barn doors open to a loft bedroom which was featured in a previous post!

The landing upstairs, I change out artwork, bedding, pillows and where I can each season!

The two guest bedrooms, each are inspired by our years in Germany and Italy!

Thank you for stopping at Quarters One. Noting Grace is next on the line up!
We are taking our big tree farm wreath and going to the coast next week for more Christmas fun! I hope you’ll join us there.

That snowman under the cloche is enviable. I need that 😉

Thank you, Shelley! Hope you have a wonderful Christmas!
Your cabin is such an amazing space and your mix of antiques scattered around is perfect. Everything looks like an old-fashioned Christmas that I love best. You’ve created such a warm and welcoming home is such a vast space. That is hard to do, but you’ve mastered the technique.
Thanks for joining the tour again this season, your home is such a treat.
Thank you, Marty!! I really enjoyed the tour…every house was beautiful!
Your cabin is beautiful! I love all your antique pieces like the secretary desk and the special touches like the squirrel!
Thank you, Kristin! Merry Christmas!
