We took a quick trip to the mountains recently to open our fishing cabin, Idlehour, for the summer. I usually take off all the heavy bedding and add some lighter weight covers to the beds even though the nights are cooler but still fairly warm.
Here’s a look at the primary en suite on the main floor. Much of our artwork from our Army days traveling the world is hanging on the walls at Idlehour and in several rooms I created gallery walls to accommodate it all because I just couldn’t part with any of it. This primary bedroom is sooo small and personally I think it’s a design flaw to have such a large bathroom area and skimp on the bedroom but we’re making it work!
